I wear a 6 7/8 fitted hat and can usually wear a hat described as small/medium but over the years I have found it to be more and more difficult to find a hat other than a ballcap to fit my head, The adjustable feature inside the sweat band easily allowed me to adjust this medium to fit my head snugly. I also echo other writers' statements regarding the shipping. The stiff plastic inner liner kept the hat's shape and made it look like I just took it off a store shelf.
