This is the simplest garlic or food processing machine. on). I've tried both, but for the video I made I used a battery. The first time I used it, it took 3 hours to charge. It only took a few turns or 5 consecutive seconds to get a nicely minced garlic. I haven't tried nuts but I think that would be easy too. Cleaning is always important, if it's too much I wouldn't bother. Some of the garlic flies will stick to the machine and are easy to scrape off. Materials on the top are rubberized silicone, which holds up well, while the lower main body is thick plastic, much like any blender. The blades felt nice and sharp. Since it's so small it fits in one hand, I only wish I had a big one so I could salsa with it. I will probably later! Please note this is ideal if you live in a tiny apartment but I would go bigger!
