nice soft but not too soft keys. The wireless connection works as expected - for both mouse and keyboard. Not sure how long the batteries will last, but the keyboard gets 2 batteries and the mouse gets one. The response is timely, the keyboard is light, does not take up much space. I tried to match the keyboard to the HP laptop I had when I picked it so as not to train my fingers trying to figure out the location of the new keys. I recommend this, it's a good keyboard combo at an unbeatable price. much luck
