Shrank a full size after 1st washing. I bought a blue pair in Large and they fit great even after washing multiple times. I like them so much I wanted another pair in black. Before being washed they fit ok, a little more snug than the blue pair but cuffs fell at the base of my ankle so unfortunately I kept them because after the first wash they shrank to be very snug and a full 1” above my ankles. If you want black order a size larger.
