I couldn't find a pair of Teva Tierra for less than $100 so I settled on a pair of Teva Original Universal for $50. I also noticed these $25 sandals while searching and figured at that price I'd take a chance and check them out. Was I surprised! They're actually more comfortable than Tevas and look nicer, so they're my go-to sandals now and Tevas have been relegated to replacements. Let's see how they hold up over time. When I was in Cozumel a few years ago, my Tevas broke and I found a pair of sandals at the local grocery store for $15. They lasted 18 months and I almost went back to Cozumel to buy another pair! I think these $25 sandals will serve me just as well. Beach, in salt water, on boats, daily bike rides and in the rain. Today the rear straps finally pulled out of the sole after getting stuck in sticky mud while crossing a small creek. I think I definitely got my $28. I will order a few more.
