UPDATE 1 May 2020:-I have put this item back up to 5 stars because the seller kindly offered me a partial refund to offset the fact that it is coming apart at the seams. I hope to get a good repair and am still on the lookout for a portable steam sauna that is constructed well. I absolutely do not regret using this steam sauna, have been using it every other day, sometimes two days in a row (just hydrate well before, during & after). I have read steam saunas increase white blood cells/enhance immune system, are a exercise mimetic and also anti-aging. It is a wise investment during our current COVID-19 crisis and I have even purchased a different brand for my brother (doctor who is still in contact with his patients). Please do your own reading and research on the health and beauty benefits of using steam saunas. As I said, I just wish they were better constructed for use and longevity.———-UPDATE 26 April 2020:-I have only had this product for about a month and the fabric is coming undone from the stitching. I will try to attach pictures. Request to seller: Would it be possible just to send me a replacement tent? In any colour that you have available? Thank you very much.———-This steam sauna tent was even more effective than the sauna I use at the gym. I feel all the health benefits associated with this steam sauna. The tent fabric and construction appears a little cheaply made and I would recommend a few design improvements such as replace the central rod with another mechanism because it might hinder a person who needs to exit the sauna tent in a hurry. Apparently the brown one has a zipper door and doesn’t need that central rod but I didn’t know that and bought the grey one instead I thought there was difference in colour only not design!I agree with some other reviewers that the chair is very flimsy even though I weigh well inside the maximum load specified for it I feel it wobbly and unsteady. It should be robust and strong so that there is no danger of the person falling onto the steam source and risking injury.I would like the option to sit on the floor of my sauna tent (on a fluffy towel) but the steam source does get in the way a bit, sitting so close to it prevented me from relaxing and getting full benefit of the sauna session. The actual steam generator has tubing that is too short, the ideal would be to have it in view so that the user could see the temperature setting and the time/duration of his/her sauna session. I have only used mine a few times and hope to add to this review after 6-12 month’s use. Assembly was very quick and easy. Instructions were difficult to understand when it came to re-folding the sauna tent into its carrying case but the seller responded immediately and sent a very good video-clip. Although I have cited a few constructive criticisms I am still very glad I purchased it. It works better than expected and the steam sauna benefits are just too great, everyone should have access to one regularly for good health and preventative medicine.
