Cable meets specifications. I bought it because I have 3 monitors and needed a way to connect an old VGA monitor to a modern system with DisplayPort inputs. One star deducted because the VGA connector is very large (2 inches). It's slightly longer than most older VGA connectors and this has prevented me from using it in one of my monitors that have the VGA connector facing down. When using this cable with this particular monitor, the length of the VGA connector sticks out slightly, preventing the monitor from sitting flat on my desk. Luckily my 3rd monitor (also VGA) has the connector facing backwards so this cable works fine.
