I see a lot of people complaining that it's bent or that the latch doesn't fit the door. Well, if you would take the time to read it, you would see that it is meant to be. So, when you sent it back, the same problem came up. Well, because that's how it's done. You obviously haven't read. It's bright orange and hanging right next to what everyone thinks is broken! Just read folks. Here I posted a photo of what you forgot to read! I bought three of these gates and they fit the location I needed them for perfectly. However, when the room got big, it didn't seem as strong. But if you're trying to close a smaller space, great! Like I said I bought three and they are amazing! Just try using smaller allowable settings and it will be great. If you choose a larger range of settings, it will not be reliable. But then again! The door must be tilted before assembly! People read the instructions! I mean how could you miss the bright orange paper hanging on the gate? It says it's not a defect! I will take again if I need for other places. The gate is a little tight when open, but that's not a problem for me. But if I could recommend anything, I would say open the gate a little wider.
