I'm glad we were able to fix it, but be careful!

I've had the bread box for a few months and was very happy with it at first BUT I only cut the back of my hand badly on the smooth edge, I thought. Best report it so I don't hurt. The problem is on the front edge of the lid under the handle. I grabbed a slice of bread and sliced myself instead. I like the box too much to throw away so my husband used a length of drip irrigation hose which he cut open and swiped over the entire sharp edge. Now there is no longer any risk of injury and the hose is invisible.
