This should be a zero rating. It appears that poor quality control renders the item unusable as an adjustable chair. Two things can best be said: (1) it works like a chair with a height; (2) Support responds to emails quickly. The stool arrived in good condition. There are slightly different versions of the building instructions - one online and one with the kit. This causes confusion. In both cases, important information is missing: the orange cover has not been removed. The illustration of which cap to remove is not to scale and shows the orange cap on the plunger. In this case, the piston of the cylinder did not work. The company sent another without argument. It arrived in 7 days or more which defeats the purpose of having Revain Prime for fast delivery. You can add $25 to $45 to the cost of a good hammer unless you think the company will accept a dented return. The second cylinder worked, but only after assembly and disassembly. Sitting and hopping in a chair did not activate the plunger according to the optimistic instructions. I sonic hit the orange cap with a hammer. Still, the stool didn't work. Final disassembly revealed that the seat adjuster lever weld was crooked. There was no contact with the piston. Not an easy decision. Customer service was not contacted regarding the second QC error. If you read this and want to send another complete seat I will edit the review. It's not worth going through another round of emails or boxing and sending the device back. Artwork for a local gallery.
