We use this to store my son's LEGOs. This is how we quickly find the right part when creating it. It also means less clutter on the floor. We love the removable baskets, a feature my son specifically requested. By removing the basket before burying it, you limit the dispersal of items to adjacent baskets. We also used our labeling machine to mark where the items went. We also mix baskets for different occasions. This way we can have all the small parts in one suitcase and all the larger ones in a larger suitcase. So far none of our parts have required more than one basket and in fact we double some items in the same basket (eg. 1 to the power of 2x3 and 1 to the power of 2x4). Some prefer to sort by color - this case won't work for that. It is better to sort by piece type. Our only problem is that the stickers on the front of both cases won't come off. They parted ways on two other occasions. This means that on two occasions you can't see through the lid of the piece, so you have to open it each time to see what's inside.
