I bought this OD Green version from the PX store in Kuwait and this item was a life saver when I was sent to Iraq. Alerts you in cold weather and protects your mouth and nose from sand during sandstorm season. When I left the army I gave it to my kid to play with and he lost it somewhere in the house. When the current pandemic started I was very sorry about the loss of the green and ordered a few replacements from other brands. While they worked so-so, none of them were as good as the special forces. So I ordered the black one and use it all the time.
