This Bluetooth device works on my iPad Mini, Dell x 2, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus laptops. There is no hissing, it lasts long enough when walking dogs and listening to Pandora on iPhones. I watched movies. The only problem is, and it really isn't. Unless you can connect to a new bluetooth when there is another bluetooth nearby. For example, I discovered this when I had a mini iPad nearby but was trying to connect to my laptop to watch a movie. To switch, you need to turn off the Bluetooth Mini iPad. This also happened when I parked and got into my Bluetooth-enabled car with my iPhone. I had to unplug my headphones to allow my car to make phone calls and otherwise the audio would not work on either device. So, one Bluetooth at a time, and you can easily connect to your devices. I got frustrated for a day or two trying to connect to another device. This will not happen if another nearby device is already connected. This is a great little inexpensive device that makes a great complement to Bose headphones.
