I've been using the G903 on my Mac for years. As far as I know this is a great mouse and the only one on the market with a wireless charging mat and Mac software. At least it was great until Logitech decided to play around with software that did exactly what it needed to. With the new mouse there are only problems. Right out of the box, the Logitech Gaming Software just wouldn't recognize it. Turns out the gaming software has been replaced with the newer G Hub. So if you plan on using Logitech hardware in the future, you'll have to deal with that. Simply put, G Hub is down. Every week or so, the G Hub just stops doing anything (other than showing me the rotating G logo for hours) and my mouse and mousepad revert to their default (and very distracting) RGB...er...God mine as well the default button and DPI settings. The only way to get it working again is with a full reboot; Even if G Hub is completely closed and restarted, not everything works. To top it off, the middle click on the newer "Hero" G903 is, to put it simply, awful. Every key is nice and clickable, except for the scroll wheel, which has little to no feedback. It's also very easy to slide and scroll sideways when trying to press the middle button. Aside from resolving issues with the G Hub (which I'm not expecting at all next week), my new mouse is back and I think I'll have to part ways with Logitech in the future. I won't go into detail but the quality control of a webcam purchased from them recently was also lacking. Update: After countless G-Hub crashes, I've finally given up and threw the entire install in the trash where it belongs. This is really very bad. If Logitech had spent a few pennies more on the spec sheet (my middle click never worked properly either) and really cared about their software, this could have been a pretty good mouse. Now I will probably never buy a Logitech product again.
