Good airbags but poor hardware

These airbags are of excellent quality themselves, but the hardware is poor and you are missing out on valuable replacement parts. GOOD: 1) The airbags are made of high quality Goodyear rubber. .2) The mounts are sturdy and well made. 3) Internal shock absorber buffers seem like a good idea and will allow the bags to run without air. THE BAD: 1) Installation requires throwing away some hose and wire supports. . They serve a purpose and keep brake lines and wires from chafing and chafing. There is no way to attach these lines in the kit and this could potentially cause a serious problem if the wires are cut or the brake lines wear out. holes in the frame. To secure this bolt it is quite difficult to insert the bushing into the hole and then attach the bushing to the ratchet inside the frame. DANGEROUS: 1) Installation requires TWO large frame clamps to move the e-brake cable, but ONLY ONE is included! This isn't an accidental omission either, as the parts list clearly says: 1. Has no one noticed this issue in 3 years? 2) U-bolts are too long. This means that most of the thread is hanging down, but more importantly, the nut thread ends before it is properly tightened. You will need to add washers to keep the nut from going beyond the threads. 3) U-bolts are too wide for the frame. The mount can slide from side to side as there is at least 1/2 inch of free hanging space. important components. GM engineers put those brackets and brackets there for a reason, but Airlift carelessly discards them. Overall I'm happy with the quality but very disappointed with the installation.
