Wow this car is fast. We haven't managed to go to an open parking lot or field yet, but we're training. The steering is very tight and makes quick corners or skids when driving fast in the backyard. My almost 9 year old son loves it. He didn't want to go outside because of the mosquitoes, so he stood by the back door and drove it around the backyard. Good range too. The last photo is important because I wanted to show that the ground is straight and smooth, so it walks well even without long grass or artificial turf and doesn't pull on the undercarriage. Racks are inside and outside of objects. This is a great mid-range find and I'm very glad we found it. Came with 2 batteries so we have plenty of playtime. I'm going to build an obstacle course and challenge my son's time because the simple fact is that in a race you run too fast to the end of the yard before you hit the fence. Wish me luck.
