This product cost a lot of money compared to other similar products so it really had to come to be worth the money. it was. First, they're not attached to any of those cheap white control boxes, they have a black controller with three buttons, one turning them on and off, one changing color, and the third customizing them through various music/sound changes. Options, which is red by default. There is adhesive tape on the back for easy attachment to the underside of a table or the back of a shelf. The strip itself has a very strong grip on anything you attach it to, you'll usually need to use a few extra LED strip clips to hold it, especially on something like bare chipboard or very smooth surfaces. The band is black with a rubber coating to keep water out, but it's been researched a lot better than others I've seen. The LED strip has a brightness of 86% when you first turn it on and it is much larger than any of my other full power LED strips. I was really hoping there would be a setting in the app, and indeed there was! The application has a number of options, look at the pictures! Brightness, color, sound settings and even DIY settings. I was very impressed with the amount of customization you can do. To connect you just need to download the app, it's called Groove Home, then select the purchased item which will have a picture and a name, then Bluetooth will take over and connect in seconds. I had a lot of fun tweaking and tweaking the settings exactly how I wanted, and I think you will too. Also funnily enough when you first open the box there are more and more conspicuous warnings on the product telling you not to test the lights on a roll or they might overheat and not get cut. It's not good or bad, just thought I'd mention it because it shows that the manufacturer really cares about the product. Recommend this to anyone who wants more than just a solid color stripe.
