Review on Cacala Hooded Bathrobe Pestemal Turkish by Rob Bishop

This is my second bathrobe from this company, the second one is at least 3 years old. It was hard to give this item a star because I really like it, but it does have a couple of notable flaws. The first robe has a denser fabric, a longer waistband, and doesn't shrink as much as the second robe. Have used Pestemal towels for years and love them. I also really like the robe but with a few caveats: it runs small and then shrinks at least 4 inches in the length of the sleeve and body after washing. Maybe the same in scope? Order L/XL for an adult, but don't expect it to fit someone who is overweight or taller than average. - It was disappointing to find that the material now used is much lighter - The tassels come off easily and can be difficult to put back together properly. I've just washed Robe 1 and had to retie almost all of the tassels at the bottom hem. I prefer not to have a hood. It sucks, I've never put it on my head, it would look better if you pet it. the sash folds and twists on the plus side - pestemal! - easy to wash and seems to stabilize in size after shrinking - good coverage down to the knees - lightweight but not see-through - unisex - comfortable - suitable for spring fall
