This is a great little bubbler/filter for a small aquarium but with a small caveat. The included regulator does not "control" the airflow at all. Even with the valve fully closed, the bubbles still come out very large, fast and loud. This causes a lot of accidental splashes on the surface and a lot of noise as well as more clutter in the tank which may not be ideal for some of the more sensitive fish. It's not a problem for us because my daughter loves the sound and we only have goldfish, but it can be a problem for some people or their fish. Maybe you can get a better controller for a few bucks if that bothers you. In addition, it looks beautiful in the aquarium!
