Review on Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm π· f/1.8G Lens: Exceptional Image Quality and Versatility by Ha Joon (Kim joon) α
I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.
For the sake of interest, I compared it with my staff member 18-105, the difference is very noticeable. At 50mm, with the same parameters (shutter speed, aperture, ISO), the picture is cleaner. even a little lighter, the elaboration of details is noticeably higher (especially at the edges of the frame). Bokeh is much prettier. In general, I advise for creativity experiments.
Pros
- An excellent lens, 1.5 years ago it was brought from the USA (at that time it cost 6200 in). Sharp, bright, fast autofocus. In combination with the d5000, it gives a very decent picture.
Cons
- At this price, they just don't exist.
