TL;DR: Not worth it, get something better.

I'm a software developer who writes embedded software for very expensive and sensitive specialty hardware, so I know a thing or two about how it works. I ordered this as a second power supply for my new Eluktronics MECH-15 G2Rx laptop (great purchase) and before even hooking it up to my car I took a quick look at the unit and read the markings on it. The title says 19.5V/9.23A, but the device I received (same as the picture) says 19V/9.5A. I admit that these numbers are very close, and in Most of the time nobody learns, except that the regulator in the laptop needs to get hotter to do its job. This extra heat shortens its lifespan. So for the uninformed user you will get a blue light in the charger and your laptop will still boot/charge and everything will look fine but you will end up needing a new laptop sooner than usual. That alone didn't stop me as I'll probably upgrade my machine before I bust the internal regulator, so I pulled out an old multimeter to see what voltage the charger that came with my laptop was reading and reading. from a good constant even 19.96V. Again, it's fine within a volt, but it was stable at 19.96V, which means my laptop's factory charger had some really good smoothing capacitors in the output, so my machine is probably getting really, really clean power. Then I looked at this charger and saw the voltage fluctuating between 19.2 and 20.1 volts. These no-load jumps mean that at a higher load (like running a laptop) it jumps even more (as the capacitors discharge deeper). This was the pivotal moment when I came to the conclusion that the power supply needed to be returned. After spending over a thousand dollars on a laptop, it's not worth skimping on a second charger, which will likely shorten the life of my computer significantly.
