I bought a replacement Asus Rog gaming laptop charger for Asus g75v. It has a slightly smaller form factor (resulting in lighter weight) than the factory charger, which is a plus. The chord length is slightly shorter than the standard length, which can be a plus or minus depending on your needs. Personally, I've never used the 8 plus foot cord in a factory charger, so a shorter cord is definitely better suited to my needs. Great buy, I recommend

The computer I use it on is an Asus ROG GL502VM-DS74 laptop. Received April 20, 2019. I know some other customers have had issues with their charger overheating, but I haven't noticed anything yet. I also chose to turn off the charger when my computer hits 100% to prevent the charger from overheating. I also left the charger connected to my computer for a few hours and didn't notice any overheating.

There are problems with the contacts. It was listed as a compatible charger for my MSI laptop model. Except the length is 30% longer and I believe this is causing a short circuit. I bought this for my Asus ROG 75VW laptop. The original charger eventually died after 5 years and Asus charged over $100 for one that would work with my laptop. Connection problem between two separate parts of the charger. Literally a few days after I received it, it started making twinkling noises and shutting down. The product worked very well on my GL502VSK for about 4 months. Now it will only charge when the charging cable connected to the outlet is in a cocked position. The wiring here is quite thick, so I don't see why this problem should occur. Also, I was careful not to stretch the wire during charging.
