Look great but they leak
I was really excited to find a good looking window that would fit perfectly in the space I had. These windows were even pre-tinted. After installing them, which the install went great, they were only in for two weeks before a bad rainstorm. I decided to check on them to make sure they sealed good to the canopy. Upon inspection I found that they were leaking from the window seals. I know they weren’t crazy expensive but I did expect better from them then this.
- Tempered glass is stronger than regular and, for your safety, it will fracture into small relatively harmless pieces if impacted.
- The larger window may also make it more difficult to maintain the interior temperature of your RV during colder months, leading to drafts and increased energy consumption
