Description of Upgrade Your RV With RecPro'S 18X15 Horizontal Slide Window - Made In The USA!

It's tinted for privacy and to make sure the sun doesn't heat up your RV interior. Tempered glass is stronger than regular and, for your safety, it will fracture into small relatively harmless pieces if impacted. Made from an anodized aluminum frame it is easy to maintain and has built-in corrosion resistance. Made in USA

These are clunky, cheap, and hard to install correctly

They are not put together very well, they did not have the pre-drilled holes they mention in the instructions which made them very hard to line up when screwing the frame to the window. They seem to be build with cheap materials and very cheaply put together (loose and wobbly). I was very disappointed. They are small windows and for the price they could of used better materials and manufactured better.

Pros
  • ‎RP-WIN-1815A
Cons
  • The larger window may require blinds or curtains to be installed to maintain privacy, increasing the cost of your RV upgrade

Look great but they leak

I was really excited to find a good looking window that would fit perfectly in the space I had. These windows were even pre-tinted. After installing them, which the install went great, they were only in for two weeks before a bad rainstorm. I decided to check on them to make sure they sealed good to the canopy. Upon inspection I found that they were leaking from the window seals. I know they weren’t crazy expensive but I did expect better from them then this.

Pros
  • Tempered glass is stronger than regular and, for your safety, it will fracture into small relatively harmless pieces if impacted.
Cons
  • The larger window may also make it more difficult to maintain the interior temperature of your RV during colder months, leading to drafts and increased energy consumption

window for ram promaster

I installed window in 2020 ram promaster 1500 van. I had to build out frame with 1 x 4 material on inside in order to utilize supplied mounting hardware. Window was met to be installed on preexisting hole as window replacement, but is looks good and good quality.

Pros
  • It's tinted for privacy and to make sure the sun doesn't heat up your RV interior.
Cons
  • The additional light that enters your RV through this larger window may cause furniture and upholstery to fade more quickly, leading to higher replacement costs in the long run

Pay attention: No inside trim ring

Yep I did not notice that it said no trim ring. Also we had to notch around where some screw protruded on the side. SO, the template on Ebay description is not perfect to the product

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • The size and weight of this window may make it difficult for some RVers to install on their own, requiring professional installation and additional costs
