It works, I could be outside in the sun most of the day and didn't get burned. It's light and doesn't really stop the wind so it doesn't get very hot on a sunny day. Seems to work well when wet too. And dries pretty quickly. The hood protects my neck from the sun. All I needed was sunscreen for my face and hands. Not quite five stars, but close enough to give five. I bought two of these, one gray, the other light blue. The size is accurate enough. Fits more like an undershirt than an overshirt at this size. Can buy another.
