Great combination of colour, size and shape with the black original part. I think it's OEM as 'Bosch' is cast into the bottom of the part, although it doesn't have a VW logo or part number. A big visual improvement over the 17 year old original. Easy to install if you remove any broken tabs from the old part. Two caveats: first, the small insert that completes the handle on the doorknob and locks the bezel in the doorframe is a little out of shape; better use the original. Second, when you remove the old frame, be sure to check to see if the hard plastic sheet holding the frame in place has broken off the door panel. This is the main reason the bezel breaks out of the door panel and when that arc disappears the bezel wobbles and eventually breaks back out. This arch holds the bezel in place - the little plastic lugs on the bezel aren't enough to do it yourself. To fix, separate the two parts of the original frame. If there is a piece of hard plastic between them, pull it out and superglue it into the door panel before attaching the bezel. There is very little stress on the bow - it just stabilizes the plastic grommet reinforced handle - so once glued in place it should work fine. Having done this I cannot say with certainty that the repair will be permanent but will report back and update the review in a few months. All in all a great replacement product.
