First of all I think the material alone makes it worth your money. This kit comes with a very long 30m rubber coated braided steel cable which appears to be of a very high quality. It also has a shorter cord to tether your dog to the main line and all the necessary accessories. Also, it comes with a pretty good standard 8ft dog leash that has an elasticated section that works great when I'm walking my dog. I set it up in my yard for a test run but plan to use it when camping. It can be easily attached between two trees, or you can do the same thing I did and use 2 eyebolts. Installation was easy. It includes step-by-step instructions, although you could figure it out without them. It has a tie rod screw so you can make sure it's tight and secure. I didn't want to cut off the excess so I wrapped the excess around the wire spool to keep it from getting tangled. The only recommendation is that this kit probably needed 2 quick links but only one came. The quick release link is a small chain link with a screw center for attaching the carrier cable to the main cable. The second is needed to attach the dog collar to the line. although easy to fix. Second. The initial unwinding of the cable was a disaster. I untied the ties and dropped the roll and it got tangled very quickly. So it may be worth inserting a rod or something in the middle before loosening the zip ties. Overall, this is a great product at a great price.
