I have a pair of Dawgs insulated slippers that look a lot like Crocs. I've had them for a few years now and love them but they are too warm to wear in the summer. Unfortunately my flip flops were terrible to walk on wet grass to check the garden. Once wet they were wet most if not all day and also slippery when I tried to walk in them. This is my first pair of formal Crocs and I love them so far. That's exactly what I wanted. Easy to put on and go out in the yard and slip off when you enter so you don't chase the dirt/grass/water around the house. I love how you can use the strap when you need it or just flip it to the side when you don't need it. The grippy structure on the inside of the shoe makes walking much easier when water gets into the shoes and they dry out fairly quickly. It's great being able to just quickly rinse them off if they get dirt or weed on them, which is minimal as not much sticks to them either.
