I bought this drive a year ago for a budget PC I was building. It didn't have a lot of storage (60GB) but it was enough for my needs at the time and plentiful. The PC didn't see much use - it was more of a hobby project of mine than a replacement for my high-performance machine. After about 6 months I started noticing problems. The computer would randomly freeze and then freeze. The download showed disk errors - missing data - that needed to be fixed. Then one day it completely stopped loading my operating system. I tried to install a new operating system but could not install it on the hard drive. In fact, the drive died in less than a year. Luckily I didn't lose any important data (again this PC was more of a side project) but DO NOT BUY THIS DISC anyway. Yes, it's cheap, but eventually you'll need to replace it, and you could lose valuable data in the process.
