If you're like the rest of us, you hate washing your hair. Wanted a shower cap that would last because shower caps are bad for the environment and who the heck wants to buy them anymore. Because the inside is made of terry cloth and the outside is made of durable fabric, it can be washed! I take it every week when I do my towels and laundry. I personally let it air dry after washing.
