Much softer than expected. I've been looking for one that doesn't scratch my forehead and doesn't feel like a plastic scraper because it gives me goosebumps for doing just that. The outside absorbs water quickly and gets wet after a shower, but hopefully dries quickly. I have a small head compared to how roomy it is, but the elastic fits really well.

Great shower cap! I have straight thin hair and I hate washing it too often. It does a great job of keeping my hair dry while I'm in the shower. I also use it on damp washed hair as a towel while I get dressed.

I love this shower cap. As a black woman, the steam from the shower messed up my edges. But this cap liner helps absorb steam to keep my hair from getting frizzy. That's great!

I was looking for a shower cap that would fit my 18 inch crochet pigtails. This hat doesn't fit. A size of 14 inches or smaller is probably best. As for waterproof, since I couldn't wear it with pigtails I don't know if that's the case so I gave it 3 stars. I don't know how long it lasts, hence the 3 stars. I gave it 4 stars because it's really soft and has 3 levels of protection, just wish it was big enough.
