I bought this because my kids love playing tic tac toe at restaurants and they run out of paper quickly. So I bought them this so we can take it any where especially when waiting is involved like airports as well. It isn't super small but not too big so I can easily put it in my bag. The color of the wood is beautiful and does not look cheap. The pieces are easy to pick up for my toddler. I wish though that the lid (game board) has some sort of lock on it or magnet to keep it closed so the pieces stay secure inside but this hasn't stopped me from taking it with us, I just make sure to keep it flat when it is inside my bag.
