Review on Saucony S20546 25 Triumph Black πŸƒ Running Shoes - Find Your Winning Stride by Bryan Aleman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sole seems a little less durable (second pair)

I have bought Triumph over several generations. They usually wear out in a predictable way: either my big toes break through the toe box (should probably clip my toenails more often) or the inner healing pad starts to tear/fall apart. After 6-9 months, it's time to replace them. With this pair I ran more than before (3-5 miles a day, 7 days a week) and it was all outdoors (mostly road/sidewalk). I've put about 370 miles on this pair based on tracking. I noticed today that they were leaking when I stepped in a puddle and when I checked the soles I could see that both were clearly cracked. Updated for pair #2: lasted less than three months before soles cracked while running 3-5 miles a day. Downgraded to three stars. Definitely worse than previous generations. I will try again with the Triumph 18. Comfortable and soft of course. Durability is probably average (most people seem to be saying 300-500 miles per pair). I think it's time to buy a new pair.

Pros
  • Great for running!!
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with heel spurs
