Nonsense! If I could put 0 stars I would. I make my own dog collar and have used this D ring on my medium sized dog. Imagine my surprise when I took her for a walk and after 10 minutes only had a leash in my hands. Thank god it was very late and there was no one on the street when she picked up. She pulls a lot but oh my god this ring shouldn't slow down! Not good quality. I do not recommend this if you have a medium sized dog. Update 8/24/19 I made a collar for my 25lb puppy and after just one walk the ring fell apart! It would have ended in disaster if I was on a busy street! PLEASE BE CAREFUL! IF YOU MAKE COLLARS FOR SALE, IT IS NOT SAFE TO USE.
