I wear a size 7 or 7.5. I took a chance and ordered 8. I thought they were big but they are the size of my 7.5 ASICS. Like many of the reviews, I found them very neat and sturdy. I don't know if I have to break them in. Can't say as I can't play courts if I don't like them and want to return the shoes. I'll put them on at home and see if they feel better after a pair of socks. Otherwise they go back. I will update my feedback on the result. Update: After wearing them for several days at home for several hours, they kind of grew on me. They're heavy and bulky compared to my ASICS, but I find them quite comfortable to play with. I will save.
