I just wanted amber book lights for my kids so as not to bother them too much at bedtime. Many book lights I've found on Amazon have both white and amber lights, so this one was a big plus for me. I also wanted something that wasn't too heavy but strong and also wouldn't get in the way of the words on the page when they're applied. The lantern's head swivels sideways, allowing the reader to direct the light where it's needed. This book lamp ticks all of my boxes. I tried to add some photos to show the difference in lighting (there are 3 levels of brightness) but it's hard to tell the difference in the photos. I also like that it's rechargeable so I don't have to keep changing batteries. All in all a great little book!
