It took me a while to find a decent air compressor inlet filter. Cheap junk from China is patchy at best and will ruin your compressor at worst. Don't get me started with the available spam filters. I just couldn't find a filter. I could only find the filter and housing. My high pass filter was junk, as were the 3 replacement filters that were sent to me after 2 attempts. All of them were poorly designed and leaked. This filter housing is of good quality and should withstand years of use. FS stands for Silenced Filter (small plastic insert for sound reflection), 06 stands for Solberg filter size 06. I had to visit the Solberg website to see if I could get additional filters of the right size. Revain's description could use this important information to sell more filters. That's a lot more than what came with my HF oil compressor. Overall impressed (the standard is severely lowered with Chinese junk being imported by lazy, dishonest American importers) and highly recommended for your compressor. Pay attention to CFM and thread size.
