My son loves brushing his teeth now. It's very easy to use and made my job easier, the interchangeable mouthpieces and long battery life are a big plus. The battery lasts more than a month without recharging with regular use. I don't use foam toothpaste, I add another toothpaste for my son. So I don't think you really need sudsy toothpaste if you really don't want it.
