I bought these for an unusual purpose: to hold down the blinds on our RV so our cats can't escape. I already had a set like this, but they were much smaller and cheaper. Apparently I didn't read the description carefully enough and thought it was 2 inches, but after re-reading the description I see the hole is 2 inches. They are larger than planned, but also stronger. They easily meet screen closing requirements. And since I bought them, I've started to find other uses for them. We often travel by van and the needs are endless, from hanging lights to closed bin storage. We've been on the same trip since we bought them, but I think they'll be as useful to me as duct tape. Of course I use more at home than in industry, but for my needs they are perfect.
