This is a nice sized bag, a little smaller than you might expect but it also holds more than you'd expect - so it's kind of a wash. I uploaded a picture of the full bag next to a standard coffee cup for comparison. I find myself wishing it had more pockets, but for most uses it's more than enough. There's a small outside zipper pocket which comfortably fits keys, wallet, and most phones; one side pocket with about an inch-and-a-half of depth, and another side pocket that you can stick a pair of shoes in (because of a lot of material that will extend out into the bag).You can't beat it for the price, but if you are really specific about what you want in a bag but are still price-conscious, you should probably pick one out in-person at a place like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, etc.
