Ski gloves are not (see below for details)

My daughter wore them skiing for the first time the other day when she was out at 6 or 7am. She said her hands weren't wet, they were cold. I don't know how long they kept their hands warm since I wasn't there. I believe using some "hot hands" in these gloves might help; However, I hoped that this would not be necessary. Given the price, it may make sense to spend a little more and buy gloves that will keep your hands warmer OR realize that you may need those warmer inserts. I bought a size 8-10 for her as she is almost 10 but smaller for her age and they fit perfectly. The glove style is also very attractive. If you're looking for serious ski gloves these aren't for you, but they might be perfect for playing outside in the snow.
