This is my third time since 2012 that I have lost hair due to chemotherapy. Until I found this 100% silk hat to wear under wigs, I couldn't wear many store bought wigs as they all irritated my sensitive scalp and caused it to overheat. and I'm sweating profusely. With a silk hat I can now wear my wigs and they are no hotter than the headscarves and scarves I used to wear. The hat absorbs sweat and often gets wet when I take off the wig, but I don't feel it when I'm wearing it. I would recommend hand washing them as the stitching doesn't do well in the washing machine.
