That's what I expected and I'm very happy with it.
I've had the opportunity to use this case a number of times when I took my Epson VS240 projector to a demo. I feel my projector is well protected. The foam inside was easy to set up to fit my projector, although there is only extra room for the power cord and remote control. You may be able to pinch the HDMI cable. All in all, that's what I expected and I'm very happy with it.
