Important info on why people say remotes stop working

First of all these are good LED lights that do the job, pretty bright and perfect for what I bought them for which was the broken ones To replace original LED lights in Halloween decor. I saw some other reviews that talked about remote control issues and here is what I found. My wife came to me today and said she couldn't turn the light off with the remote which was the only way to do it other than removing the batteries. I figured no problem as you get a set of 3 lights and 3 remotes each of which can control all 3 lights. I'll just open and use one of the other two remotes. However, this remote did not work to disable them. So I tried the 3rd remote control which didn't work either. I then replaced the batteries with one of the other puck lights and although the LEDs lit up normally, none of the three remotes worked to control them. Tried swapping the batteries for 3 bulbs, same thing. Deciding it was too much of a fluke I put in a new set of AAA batteries in the original light and lo and behold, now all 3 remote controls were working again to power the original light. So it's not the remotes that aren't working, rather when the batteries in the puck light run low they're still working to light the LEDs, seemingly at full power, but they don't seem powerful enough to do that signal can no longer be received. from remote controls. Just pop in fresh AAA batteries and you're back in business. Finally, two additional notes: be realistic about how long you expect AAA batteries to last, and although they claim to be waterproof, it's only by looking at them that it's all about the sealing of the case and how tight you can make it. . To be honest I haven't tried them underwater, but there is nothing waterproof in the circuitry inside.
