I bought these to make one time meals for my dog. I make my own dog food because my dog has a very sensitive stomach but it's unbearable so I make a lot and then freeze containers from those containers in the freezer. It turned out to be so handy that I started using them to freeze chicken amaretto, tortilla cakes, chicken piccat, scallop potatoes, and similar family meals. Now, measured portions of homemade ready meals are just minutes from freezer to plate and it works so well I'm about to order a hundred more. So far I haven't lost one due to product failure, although I've washed a dozen each time I run the dishwasher. They seem to be eternal.
