I don’t know how ordinary people use it, but for our family of 3, a sandwich maker lives like a mini-grill🙈 I made zucchini, my husband closed pizza, my son likes hot sandwiches. I know that someone else is frying cutlets there. We haven't tried Heats up quickly. Washing is not very convenient, but it is not critical. When buying, they thought to put it in the closet and get it out as needed, but no, it remained to stand on the table for good, because we use it often.
