This is my first AM4 processor and it performs great on Windows 10 apps. I can run multiple browser tabs (Firefox) and still play most games, even triple AA games without much success. The 2600x is a fast 6-core/12-thread processor and I can definitely tell a difference compared to an older generation 4-core/4-thread AMD x4 880k running at similar clock speeds. I also like the fact that I can get pretty decent temperatures on the air cooler (an old Wraith style with copper heat pipes) of around 60C under load and 70C in a 1 minute stress test. I suspect I would get the same pace with the included Wraith Sprite. I'll have to try this on the next update or future build. What's also great is that I'll be able to upgrade to the Ryzen 3000 series soon and possibly the 3000+ series in 2020.
