The lamp was very easy to install - about 15 minutes, most of which I spent removing the old bulb which had a lot of silicone around it. The light is bright, the lenses are easy to change and very safe. I was very happy until I went to turn it off. My popup doesn't have a switch inside, so the old device I replaced had a switch. I ran my finger along the bottom of this lantern and no. no switch. So it is always on when the camper is running on battery or 30A. I want to be able to turn it off so this won't work for me. Give 5 stars because it fulfills what is in the description very well. I just didn't read the description so it's on me. Buy the equivalent with an external switch today.
