Looks like a trick
I'm not a scientist I haven't tested them in a lab that said there's a streak of something in the plastic sink that the seller claims keeps your toothbrush fresh. You can dip your toothbrush in an antiseptic mouthwash and rinse your mouth for 5 seconds, which has been shown to sterilize your toothbrush. At least it protects my toothbrush from airborne particles in the bathroom, which are pretty nasty when you think about it. I will use them as recommended by the manufacturer but I will not buy them again.
