A bit disappointed

I used it for the first time today. I found them a bit dry. This smeared the ink pad because there was more ink on one side of the pad than the other side of the pad. I didn't use them to emboss images, I used them to color the edges of the cards. I doubt they can be used for embossing in the state they are in, although I have seen this technique used with this ink. Do I want to buy paint for everyone now? I doubt it.
